Watch this little video of Jamin drawing life-size versions of two pages from “Where the Wild Things Are” on chalkboard-painted walls. It took him over eleven hours to draw and the video is made from over 1,500 stills. This is so great! I’m in awe.
And don’t you dare try to criticize Disney’s complete mishandling of today’s pin release — you get nothing but dismissive apologies and excuses. Hotel geusts get front line treatment?! Infants get wristbands?!
I did not get a wristband for today’s release (the line cut off right in front of me) and I am now forced to buy on eBay, where they are already marked up to $100. Pin traders disgust me. I wanted ONE pin because the Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride. This should NOT be about profit, but sadly, it is.

My Favorite Part of this Episode
Idiotic Ad from “Protect Marriage Washington”: In May of 2004, gay marriage was legalized in Scandinavia. What happened? Did you know that, that year alone, suicide rates doubled and the illegal drug rate increased 19 times?
Stephen Colbert: Terrifying. And that ad is no less terrifying just because there is no country called “Scandinavia,” none of the countries in Scandinavia passed gay marriage laws in 2004, and the statistics on suicide and drug use are made-up. I say it just proves the terrible toll gay marriage has on fact-checking.
Kind of neat, actually.
Now, if only they’d ditch cheap merch.
Disneyland Parking
Were here with, what seems to be every other person EVER trying to find parking to get into the park. Were here for the fireworks, seems everyone else is here for Space Mountain (not.that.cool.) and we’ve been driving for half an hour! Mickey Trick or Treat also starts tonight… This is maddening.
